I've only owned it for about 2 days - didn't even bring it anywhere. I think the camera is returnable until Jan 13th. I did already restore to factory settings without any luck. Thank you - I tried Av mode and I still get nothing. RODE Stereo Videomic Pro, DXO PhotoLab 5 Elite, DXO FilmPack 6 Elite, ON1 Photo Raw 2022 Did the camera get wet since you've owned it? It seems you probably have a defect, I hope your dealer will replace it without hassles. Was the camera bought new? Was it a refurb? and finally, there have been reports of the rear dial failing if moisture gets in it. If disabled the rear dial does not locked, period. If enabled simply pushing the button unlocks the rear dial. There is no rocket science about the unlock button. Before returning it though, try resetting the factory defaults using the Clear all camera settings feature. I've tried both enable and disable for unlock button in menu settings -any ideas? It's a brand new camera and I'm really anxious to use itĭoes the rear dial work in other modes? For instance, when you are in Av mode and push the shutter half way done and then release it, turning the rear dial should modify exposure compensation, If the rear dial is unlocked but doesn't function you may have a defective body. The main dial works fine to change shutter speed but using the unlock and quick control dial does nothing for aperature.
